L’Oréal’s insight week was fast-paced, inspiring, and full of real opportunities to learn and grow. Every session — from deep dives to workshops — felt dynamic and packed with practical advice. Hearing directly from interns and graduates made the experience feel so real and relatable. I especially loved seeing L’Oréal’s genuine passion for innovation, sustainability, and inclusion. The whole week left me feeling motivated and excited about building a career there.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
It was incredibly exciting and eye-opening! Diving into L’Oréal’s diverse departments showed me just how many unique career paths exist beyond what I originally imagined. Each session broke down the day-to-day life in roles like Marketing, Digital Innovation, and Supply Chain, making everything feel so real and tangible. It really helped me picture where I could see myself growing at L’Oréal and sparked a genuine excitement about the possibilities ahead!

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
Absolutely! Attending the workshops massively sharpened my CV writing and interview skills, especially through the hands-on, practical advice shared by the L’Oréal team. I also developed a stronger understanding of personal branding, which made me think differently about how I present myself professionally. The sessions were so dynamic and insightful — I left feeling genuinely empowered, more confident, and much better prepared to tackle future assessment centers and career opportunities!

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
The company culture at L’Oréal felt vibrant, inclusive, and full of energy! Every speaker was so passionate, approachable, and genuinely supportive, creating a really inspiring atmosphere throughout the sessions. It was clear that innovation, collaboration, and personal growth are truly valued here. I loved how open and encouraging everyone was — it made the whole experience feel welcoming and motivating.

Finally, prepare well for assessment centers by practicing real examples of your skills — and don’t forget to stay confident and positive!
