Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
On the first and second day, we had multiple guest speakers and we got to hear their profesional journey, as well as listen to their insights about the job and what the day-to-day basis looks like. On the third and fourth day, we had the opportunity to do desk shadowing and networking with employees from the team we were allocated to
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
Overall, it was a great learning experience. Getting insight into the business and the different roles really helped me understand how investment banking works day-to-day and where I could see myself fitting in.

I have learnt a lot of information about multiples analysis and valuation models, while also exploring how the day-to-day basis of actual employees looks like.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
I have observed that the company culture was very rich and the general atmosphere was very friendly and just a great overall work environment. They also presented us their diversity and inclusion networks which I found very important, I was happy knowing that the company makes an effort to showcase that they stand for their values.

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
I really enjoyed the insight experience at Citi. It was both informative and inspiring, giving me a deeper understanding of investment banking and the different teams involved. The sessions were interactive, and hearing from professionals across the business helped me see how my interests align with a future role in IB.

I would tell others to make a deep research of the company, it shows when you are interested in their specific business areas or even cultural values, so it's always good to really know what they stand for.
