Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
We attended a variety of talks and interactive sessions with the early careers team, higher ups at the bank, and graduates at the start of their career. We also had a group assessment on the last day that determined whether we would be fast tracked to the assessment centre.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
There were some excellent training sessions from external companies as well as talks from higher ups at Deutsche Bank that gave a clear sense of the business areas, focuses of the bank, and all the available roles at the bank.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
I developed key technical skills for TDI and learnt about a variety of business areas - TDI, O&A, FIC, CB. We also had some insightful sessions about developing other soft skills that are useful for pursuing banking as a profession.

There is a strong culture of inclusivity and collaboration at Deutsche. In addition, there is a strong emphasis and focus on compliance and security for clients.
