Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
The Spring Week insight offered a comprehensive introduction to Deutsche Bank through interactive sessions, networking, and training. Each day included talks from senior leaders, skills workshops like “Mastering Your Minutes,” and divisional deep-dives across Origination & Advisory, Corporate Banking, and Markets. We also engaged in simulations, a case study assessment, and a career fair with graduates and ERGs, gaining both technical and cultural insight into the firm.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
Good as it allowed me to gain a clearer picture of the bank’s structure and the diverse roles across divisions.

Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
Throughout the week, I developed my communication and teamwork skills through group exercises and networking activities. I also improved my commercial awareness and gained a better understanding of financial products and industry trends, especially during the Markets Simulation sessions. Additionally, sessions like “Mastering Your Minutes” helped sharpen my time management and meeting etiquette.
