Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
The Insight Program dived deep into Citi as a firm- its core business offerings, values and work culture. In the TTS Program we had networking sessions with Senior and Junior Employees; work shadowing in different product lines; and a case study challenge.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
It was eye-opening discovering the TTS division and its various product offerings. We explored the roles through shadowing the analysts, potentially in sales, business execution or product.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
I developed networking skills, especially on understanding the business leadership structure, asking relevant questions to leave a meaningful impression.
I also gained quick-learning and note-taking skills through the information sessions. I had to put this to the test in the final day case study challenge.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
The company culture is very inclusive and encouraging. Everyone from seniors to juniors had open doors for any question or conversation. The TTS department was supportive to building my understanding of the business processes. There is a good rapport within teams and managers too, which is encouraging as a Spring Week intern.

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
I enjoyed the insight to a great extent. It was my first time being exposed to a large corporate firm, especially a financial institution. I also enjoyed meeting students from different universities.
