Overview of Experience

Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.

The insight was great ! The schedule enabled us to discover different products in financial markets, learning from juniors to seniors. We had networking events and an online trading simulation that involved putting ourselves as market makers and price takers.

What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?

We really learned a lot about the whole markets business and the differences you can find between an asset class and another but also about public side and private side. It was really insightful as the structure was pretty clear.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

The atmosphere was really great and the culture positive : we felt welcomed by everyone and people were really accessible which made me feel comfortable and genuinely made me want to come back to Citi for the summer internship.
