Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
I completed various high level trainee tasks at the firm during my two weeks. Some of these tasks included legal drafting, proofreading, research tasks and writing advice letters to clients. Aside from the incredibly varied work, I also participated in activities such as teaching school children how to network, attended legal seminars, attending introductory meetings on the various committees the firm has on offer. I also enjoyed attending the firm wide socials.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
As the firm is not just a law firm but a professional services business, I really valued learning about all the different aspects the firm has to offer.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
I have certainly learnt and honed a variety of skills. Time management was one of the biggest skills I developed during this internship to balance multiple tasks. Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in my work. Creativity and resourcefulness when given drafting tasks and using the information I had available to me to generate an appropriate legal document.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Everybody at the firm was extremely friendly and supportive. Truly did not feel out of place for one moment.
