I rotated within 2 teams in market.
I got exposure to many asset classes via primers to read and projects to study and present at the end of each rotation.
The team sometimes asked for help on projects, case studies, market research and modelling

I did not face clients or work deeply on market related projects, but I shadowed teams and participated at my scale to these projects
