Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
FTP is the spider in the bank's web; it charges funding costs to businesses for taking on assets and remunerates liability side business for stalling cash. My role was looking into liquidity ratio skew data and performing analysis on trends.
TSG is a back-end low-code development team in the back office of DB. My main tasks was learning about automation tools and helping out on running projects.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
The amount of responsibility you can take up in a role depends highly on the team that you are in. If the learning curve is very steep and the impact of your work very high, you reigns won't be as loose as when you can work on recurring or longer-term project tasks.
I am reasonably satisfied with the responsibility I was given in my 2 rotations, as my main objective was personal development and learning.
