Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

My role was as an Associate in the Insurance Directorate, where I worked in the Life Insurance team. I was responsible for two multi-firm projects, which required me to liaise with firms that we regulate and measure their adherence to a policy that is currently being implemented. I also had the opportunity to network with interns, associates, managers and heads of department.

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

I enjoyed my internship significantly. It was very helpful to learn more about the company as well as the broader market in general, and the type of work that I did was new to me but very helpful.
