Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
The role involves working closely with all parts of the bank to understand customer and business needs, helping them deliver cutting-edge solutions at speed.
On a day-to-day basis, it involves being part of daily standups - communicating progress, requirements, etc. Rest of the day involves working on the main projects throughout the placement, and having meetings/group discussions with the relevant teams. A lot of team-work, collaboration, ownership, openness and honesty involved daily.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Yes, a lot of opportunities were given to lead on various parts of the project. It is all about taking the initiative, making sure to take full ownership and accountability while delivering the results.
