Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

I joined as a summer intern, got to see client meetings, internal meetings within the team, to see how programme governance works, and the different workstreams within the project. I also worked on creating client deliverable slides, and updating a profitability tracker on excel.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

Yes, I was given responsibility beyond the general intern tasks

Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?

Yes, I developed my communication skills: giving me more confidence, having worked with senior members of the team. I also developed my technical skills: slides and sheets, by creating complex tasks on excel.

I really received support: there is a good system of support: there are career coaches, buddys, then within my team I was greatly supported, and welcomed.
