Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

I was an intern involved in a real client, fast-paced project working alongside a professional team. I undertook various tasks at an associate level, using spreadsheets and slides, and interacted in meetings.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

Yes. I was directly involved in real deliverables and relevant tasks which required a lot of attention to detail.

Support and Guidance

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?

I received a lot of support. Starting with my team, I was always supported and given work to develop my skill set. Moreover, my buddy introduced me to individuals around the office to learn more about different consulting clusters. Furthermore, my career coach helped me develop internship goals and ensured that they were achieved at the end of the internship.

Company Culture

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

It was amazing. Everyone was willing to help and support each other. If someone was not feeling at their best, everyone jumped in to help with workload and put well-being as a priority.
