Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
I am working in a nuclear engineering team to model and determine the feasibility of a new design. Day- to-day I am using python for calculations and modelling.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Yes, I was able to work independently on my project and contribute new ideas. However, I still felt very supported with the work I was doing.

I have really enjoyed my placement as I have had the opportunity to develop my soft skills as well as my technical skills. I have had the chance to network with a lot of people in different offices in the company.
