Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Days to day work is split into 3 different sections: placement, self led learning and a business project. Placement is work within the specific intern role you applied to, self led learning usually occurs twice a week for an afternoon you can explore the Intranet and courses (e.g data camp or agile learning methodology), and the business project is completed collaboratively with your peers over the course of 8 weeks with an allotted time of 2 afternoons each week.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Yes, particularly creating and presenting reports to help managers, of which my contributions were compiled into a bigger report which went to senior leaders.

Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
Excel expertise has been developed, knowledge of the retail banking market. Presentation skills have also been improved on throughout workshops and the ability to connect with confidence to other team members

I thoroughly enjoyed my internship with NatWest, the people really make a difference there and people go above and beyond to make sure you feel well supported and to create a learning environment
