Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

I am on the mobile team and I worked closely with the project in developing new features for the mobile app, and creating multiple test to optimise the functionality and ensure everything works.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

As I worked on the actual project with my team, I was able to make multiple contribution that will be pushed to production and seen in the mobile application. I am very thankful that I was able to see how the flow of everything works.

Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?

I learnt how to pair programme effectively with some of my senior engineers. I also increased my communication skills because as an intern you have to be able to confidently speak to your colleagues.

I received a great amount of support/guidance as I can speak to my seniors and reach out whenever I feel like. No question is a dumb question! Everything is about growth and elevation.

Company Culture

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

This has been the biggest factor for me! The atmosphere was so welcoming, I felt comfortable in the environment, everyone was so lovely and nice I genuinely have zero complaints.
