Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

Software engineering intern, working in a backend role.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

Yes I worked as a regular software engineer in my team for the duration of my internship. I was given as much responsibility as was suitable for my technical expertise, and I was involved in all regular team meetings and agile ceremonies. My opinion was taken as seriously as any other team member.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

Company culture and work life balance is great. It's a really welcoming, warm and accepting atmosphere and everyone is super friendly, helpful, and always up for a chat.

I really enjoyed my internship. I was able to develop both my technical and soft skills in a supportive environment, learning from very talented people both in my team and in the wider company.
