Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
The beginning of the first week involved an introduction to the firm and various informative presentations. On a day-to-day basis, I reported to my supervisor who gave me different tasks such as: research, drafting and proof-reading.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
The firm was very transparent about the roles available and also gave information about career development.

During the scheme, I developed my legal research skills and analytical skills that I had at university. I also learnt how to improve my presentation and communication skills.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
The company culture is very pleasant and everyone who works at the firm is very friendly. The social events and activities were also quite fun despite the fact that they were all conducted online. The firm also provided a lot of information about the variety of initiatives and activities that everyone can get involved in.

To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
I really enjoyed the insight, I never felt afraid to ask questions to a variety of people at the firm and everyone was happy to help. I learnt a lot during the experience and have definitely developed a lot of skills that I will be able to use in my future career.
