I conduct tests on financial statements. This involves using excel and other tools like datasnipper to transfer information from an invoice or bank for example onto an excel file. Some of these tests are detecting for fraud. We want to test the validity of the financial information provided.

Yes. Completed many tasks for clients. Conducted actual client for 4 different clients. Each with different objectives. Sometimes I would be looking at stock other times it would be revenue. Exposed to many different scenarios and experiences.

Lots. We were assigned a manager and buddy. Both were really good in answering any questions and teaching us new things involved in the job. All questions would be answered in detail they would not rush an answer to get back to their work. Always had time for our questions.

The office had a very positive atmosphere. It was a great environment to be a part of. I enjoyed coming into the office. Everyone was happy and it was good to experience what corporate life in an office is like. Lots of space and quiet rooms if needed. The office was active which I liked teams where moving around to different people communicating to see what work they had completed and what needed to be done.

Very much. From the people, culture and work completed I learnt a lot. I networked well and met some great interns along the way.
The work was insightful and I was exposed to client work straight away so I really got to experience what it is like to work in this industry.
The social side was good which is always important in an office role. The relationships in this business are very strong and you get to feel apart of that from the start.
