Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
LIFT has been specifically designed with social mobility in mind. One of the fundamental aims was to develop an understanding among prospective trainee solicitors regarding a career in law, such as various routes to qualification, practice, and sectors, how to develop commercial awareness and interview skills, and how to ace law firm applications, coupled with networking and socialising events. Moreover, it includes a delivery of a presentation based on a case study of a live matter on aviation injury. Overall, it is a well-rounded program that confidently decides how, when, and where to practice law and develop a career.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
It was quite insightful, interactive, engaging, and informative.
