Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

My day to day role involves preparing and carrying out month end processes, contributing to the half year reporting period, as well as talking to individuals to widen my knowledge of the company.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

I have been given a good level of responsibility during my internship as I have contributed to the half year reporting accounts period through being assigned notes to complete.

Throughout my internship I have developed and strengthened my communication skills through the many opportunities to meet new people and network. I have also strengthened my excel skills and furthermore my digital skills through the use of new systems.

I have received great support and help throughout the entirety of my internship. Even before starting my internship, the company provided great guidance throughout the application period and this support has carried on throughout employment.

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

I have greatly enjoyed my internship and know that this enjoyment will continue throughout the entire time. My colleagues have been very welcoming and supportive from day one!
