Digital Activation and Media intern Review

I specifically worked within our Luxe department. I communicated with internal and external stakeholders everyday, including retailers and senior management internally at L'Oreal. I would have high involvement with new launches and our online presence. I also worked on multiple media campaigns to increase brand awareness, including social media campaigns, OOH and sampling campaigns with publishers.

Throughout my year i gained a lot of experience through managing my own tasks and processes. I became a trusted team member within the team and ended up managing campaigns from start to finish with external agencies.

I have learnt and immense amount of skills since working at L'Oreal. My communication and presenting skills have improved like no other. I used to find presenting daunting and would be very anxious to present, however, now it feels like second nature and I surprisingly now enjoy it.
I have also learnt how to efficiently multi-task and prioritise tasks to ensure I am producing work to a high level and to deadlines.

I received a lot of support throughout my internship. I had weekly 1-1 with my managers and they were also around all day every day to ask any questions I may have. The whole team was extremely supportive and I felt comfortable approaching different team members of seniority.

There was great morale within the team and a lovely atmosphere to come to work to every day. We would all celebrate our personal achievements and be there for each other if any one needed any extra support. This is one of the reasons why I would love to work for L'Oreal again in the future.

I couldn't have asked for a better year! The exposure i received on the brand and the opportunity to enhance my skills has been amazing. I couldn't recommend this placement enough.
