Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
During this Internship, my key responsibilities included:
Reporting:
Used SFCC and GA to pull and analyse data for D2C weekly and monthly reports, providing valuable insights for the team.
Presented analysis at monthly brand meetings, contributing to data-driven decision-making.
CRM:
Supported on BAU emails from creation to delivery. This includes briefing, copy writing, UTM creation, building, proofing and scheduling.
Took ownership of Harrods exclusive mailing list.
Media:
Collaborate with the Senior Marketing Manager on all lower funnel performance media campaigns driving traffic to the D2C platform.
Manage multiple trackers and maintain a strong relationship with our external media agency.
Plan campaign strategies, create assets, write compelling copy, and build ads in Meta Creative Hub.
Lead data acquisitions to enhance campaign performance.
Asset Creation:
100% ownership of asset creation for Lancôme UK&I website, CRM, media, and affiliates and work directly with our Agency creating them..
Plan and mock up creative concepts, collate assets from digital hub, identify required copy and sizes, and communicate requests to our external graphic design agency.
Handle amends and share assets with respective stakeholders.
Site Maintenance:
Be responsible for collating product codes, T&C’s, assets into a brief to our web mastering team for product launches, promotions & site optimisations.
Conduct site audits to identify opportunities, gaps, and errors, contributing to an enhanced online shopping experience.
Clean up our online catalogue by identifying out-of-stock products, checking stock levels, and removing assets with expired rights.
Perform promotion testing on the site, stress testing the checkout process and flagging any issues.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
I was given a very high level of responsibility including communicating directly with customers, setting up changes to lancome.co.uk in the backend, financial forecasting, writing terms and conditions with high legal implications, handling confidential company data.
