Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

I was in the transactional media team within the E-commerce team, day to day i lead the brands banners and sponsored search media across our main retailers as well as analysing various media touchpoints and sending out adjustments to be made to maximise the efforts of our media.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

I was given a large amount of responsibilty due to absences in the team early on in my internship which i had to cover for

My excel skills have massively improved as well as presentation skills. Being given the opportunity to present many times throughout the year also allowed me to get more confident oresenting and also creating easy to read and captivating slides

Large amounts, and there was always more on offer by the early careers team, i just wish there were more social events

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

Very welcoming and people are alwyas happy to help. Everyone is also very knowledgable so there is lots to learn from networking with people outside your direct team
