Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Finance:
Reviewed debentures, board minutes, C1 Forms, Directors Written Resolutions. Got exposed to Security Agreements, Facility Agreements and took part in a research project, with findings that assisted a Legal Director in the firm for a panel discussion on investment trends in renewable energy, in London.
Employment:
Legal research, providing legal opinions to partners on case matters, prepared notes for a hearing. You get to sit in and listen to client calls and take notes for Associates and Partners.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Yes, particularly during my Employment seat. The Partner trusted my legal opinion on a suggested PEO process, and sent my opinion to the client.

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
Lots. The Trainees were especially helpful, as they were offering guidance whenever you needed it. The Associates and Partners were all very much involved with the interns too.
