Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
As an intern, I got involved with real life matters and cases. For example, I attended client meetings, hearings, and internal training sessions. I conducted research tasks and undertook legal drafting, and attended firm events. As an intern, I was able to develop my legal skills and had the opportunity to engage with fee-earners at all levels: from trainees to Partners. Everyone was really approachable and happy to answer any questions I had.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
The induction really helped me understand the firm and its global and sector approach.
Having chats with the firm’s lawyers also gave me an insight into their role.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
It was so welcoming and open. I didn’t feel like an intern at all- I felt part of the team that I was sat with.
