Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

A series of tasks such as looking internal orders, shorted orders and actioning them. Analysis and reports on current service levels and forecast accuracy. Joining in on meetings and trainings with the wider company. Working on projects such as improving current processes, building new excel tools and creating presentations to educate others on supply processes.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

Yes. Was given the opportunity to lead multiple projects, even working with the international teams. Brought new ideas into the team and made improvements on current processes. Helped cover other tasks while others were away. Overall, given a great amount of responsibility.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?

I have defiantly developed a lot of skills such as IT, when looking at using Excel, Frakes, SAP, APO and more. The close community helped develop my communication and networking skills. And throughout the internship, I have widened my knowledge on business processes surrounding supply chain, distribution centers and other business functions.

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

Thoroughly enjoyed my time at LO'real. I feel as I have significantly developed my skills over the past few months and have met a lot of amazing people in the process!
