Liaising with brand marketing teams and other corporate functions to review product claims and communication. Upskilling yourself and other members of the team on new technologies, ingredients etc. Keeping up to date on communication and rulings from regulatory bodies.

The responsibility I was given in my role perfectly built up over time, which complimented my growth in understanding and confidence. I had full ownership of several internal and external relationships. The team were always available to support when some responsibilities became overwhelming but also had full confidence to allow me to do my own work.

Communication skills - I have learnt to adapt both my written and spoken communication styles to my audience in order to effectively get my point across. Taking the initiative - I have been given the autonomy in my role to allow my decision making skills to develop which in turn has boosted my confidence. Creativity - I have been given my own projects as well as space to problem solve which has developed my quick thinking and creativity.

I received an abundance of support from my team and could rely on different members for support in different areas of expertise. There is a great collaborative environment in the team which allows you to express thoughts and opinions which are valued and considered.

The company has a lively and fast paced atmosphere. This can be overwhelming at first but overtime it keeps things new and exciting.

I really enjoyed my placement. I am leaving with such a breadth of knowledge about both the company itself and the cosmetics industry. I have also developed so many transferable skills which I am confident will benefit me in the future. Although the work has been tough at times, I have had a fully supportive team that have reassured me on my skills, knowledged and impact.
