To support the UK Digital team to develop and maintain a successful presence across all digital touchpoints, creating and maintaining content and providing business reporting and insight.
Also, working closely with our digital agency to communicate updates needed to the website. Each month pulling together the Marketing KPI report and presenting this at our All-agency team meeting each month. Working together with multiple teams around Commercial Vehicles such as product, comms and digital team

I was given lots of responsibility during my placement due to being an extremely small team. I supported our 2 digital managers and managed the tactical offer updates each month

New skills I have learnt are Content management system updates, KPI Reporting, Excel skills
Developed - Communication skills, presenting and organisation skills

I was given lots of guidance and support during my placement year particularly by my 2 digital managers as well as my head of marketing.

I felt like it was a really nice company to work for. The culture was nice and everybody worked together. Due to being a multiple brand group everyone shared experiences and knowledge with other brands which is particularly helpful for a small brand like Commercial Vehicles which is where I worked.

I thoroughly enjoyed my placement year at VWG and was proud to have a real role with real responsibilities. I enjoyed working within the wider marketing team and working on the digital marketing side which was something that was completely new to me. I have also been grateful for the opportunities outside of my day job such as Volunteering days and Employee network groups.
