Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
I work within the digital team to maintain the website and run campaigns across new cars, used cars and aftersales. As well as this, I have the freedom to redesign aspects of the site and proactively optimise areas. Due to the nature of the role, I regularly interact with people from across the entire group.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Yes- because these roles exist every year, they come with their own responsibilities and tasks as opposed to just shadowing or being used as cheap labour. I am trusted to make decisions myself, and to make changes to the website as I see fit, within reason.

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
The team could not have been more supportive. No question is a silly question and they are happy to help as needed. Within the wider brand and group, there are always opportunities to engage and interact with areas that may not necessarily sit within the job role, but provide useful background and context to the work I do, which has been extremely helpful.
