Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

Tasks such as conducting market research and creating marketing materials for product managers to use at a multitude of meetings. This role provides valuable exposure to the interaction between product management and marketing within a B2B context, preparing you for future roles in both fields.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

yes - I was chair of student connect and was given a lot of responsibility in all of my tasks. I was required to work independently and problem solve which had greatly helped my development

So much - if I needed help, there was always someone there to help me. Lubrizol is a very open and honest work environment, with such friendly people. My supervisor had my back throughout my placement and supported me in everything I did

Company Culture

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

Professional yet friendly. I was treated like an adult throughout my whole placement and was kept to the same expectations as everyone else. It is a very respectful environment and everyone works very cohesively.

Overall Experience

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

I absolutely loved it - I really gained a lot of confidence whilst on placement and have learnt so much to take away with me. It has been the best year ever!
