Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
I support the global media team complete the planning and buying of global media. I assist with creating overview presentation documents, deadline and status trackers, emails and organisational comms and have started taking the lead on isolated projects
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Yes, throughout my placement i have been given more and more responsibility which I'm very grateful for. I have led meetings and taken the lead on sections of projects and campaigns. I have also created documents such as process flows which have been re used and sent out to external partners to explain processes.

I have developed so many skills whilst working for Burberry. The main one being adaptability as well as prioritisation, time management and leadership skills

I received a lot of support and guidance during my placement but was also given the opportunity to be independent and work things out for myself. My whole team were so friendly and supportive throughout my placement.

I thoroughly enjoyed my placement at Burberry and think it has given me an invaluable insight into the luxury fashion industry. I am very grateful to have had this opportunity to work within a great company and team.

What advice would you give to others applying to Burberry
Make sure your personality and work ethic is visible through your application and any presentations/interviews you do. I believe the best think you can do is show you have a passion for luxury fashion, Burberry in particular, and that you have a strong desire to learn and immerse yourself into everything.
