Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

Conflicts assistant involves carrying out thorough corporate research on entities involved in legal matters, as well as carrying out conflicts of interest analysis - summarizing both of these responsibilities into a detailed report.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

Plenty, the team made it sure that my role wasn't just considered a 'placement' role. I was involved in many different project as well as handling work that senior and more experienced staff also worked on. No one there views you as an undergraduate and therefore that made my responsibilities worthwhile and meaningful.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

In my team it was really good, everyone got on with each with made the atmosphere relaxed, which in turn ensured everyone were more confident with the work they were producing
