Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

First 6 months with the digital team where I got to assist with website development, hub making, blog, news and case study uploads and data reporting.
Second 6 months with GTM and Partner where I shadowed discovery calls to do with message development, copywriting, newsletter making, external vendor arrangements and helped with the development of / worked the day of an event.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

Was trusted with tasks to the extent that I didn't require supervision and even a portion of some projects - a reasonable amount of responsibility.

Learnt:

- proficiency in Outlook, Word, Powerpoint, Excel

Plenty - regular 1 to 1's and always checked up on. Given tasks, guidance and support if I ever felt like I needed more.

Company Culture

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

Great culture!! Very friendly people and not too formal, perfectly relaxed and makes working fun! Never been made to feel redundant or unwanted, the department I'm in are extremely welcoming and I couldn't have asked for better.

Overall Experience

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

Very high extent! Had multiple opportunities to develop my skills, engage with things I really cared about like volunteering and diversity initiatives. There was so many social events to get involved in, and so many work opportunities I got to enjoy. It's an amazing company to have your internship at, you get to meet so many wonderful people and learn things you never knew before.
