Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Overseeing and Maintaining the processes that allow for Intel to sample their products and facilitate testing for new releases. This includes interacting with internal customers as well as sometimes external customers to make sure the processes run as smoothly as possible and are improved
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
I received a good amount of responsibility in my role as I was able to own processes myself as well as complete tasks that where critical for business operations. I also enjoyed the chance to improve these as this was also carried out with a great deal of autonomy where you were trusted to do what you thought was best

The support I received was great from everyone up from my manager to my team, wider team and mentors. it was always easy to ask for extra help and Intel have created a culture of support where people will always have time for you if you ask.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Great company culture where lots of events would be held not only within the intern community but also within my team. there is always someone to talk too and although you work hard there are great schemes in place to relax as well

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
I enjoyed all aspects of my placement including the work I carried out the team I was in and the social elements. I did not expect to enjoy the placement as much as I have especially under COVID 19 conditions where we have not been able to make it into the office.

Take all the opportunities you get (which you will receive a lot of) and get as much exposure to things you are interested in as Intel provides a culture where you really can do this
