Overview of Experience

Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.

We explorer what a life in global banking was like looking into CIB and IB specifically. Then in global market we looked into Sales and Trading where we got to see the trading floors.

What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?

It was very transparent, they spoke about the good things but also mentioned down sides to things when asked and emphasised HSBC's working environment was very accepting of mistakes and is supportive and helps individuals

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

The company culture was actually very nice and open however on the trading floor it was very stressful as expected though! The workers there were less approachable. But the atmosphere was otherwise very accepting

To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

I enjoyed it alot as it gave me insights into industries I was really not aware of and I feel like in these 4 days I've greatly improved my knowledge of thr industry
