Overview of Experience

Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.

The scheme was intended to give insight to DLA Piper and the work they undertake. We met and listened to speakers from all of their practice groups as well as the DEI and sustainability teams. We also engaged in an interactive case study with the litigation team.

What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?

It was an incredible insight into what working with DLA Piper would look like for anyone interested in commercial law. The key takeaway I had from my experience was the global reach of the business and the grand scale of DLA Piper's work.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

All of the employees had incredible things to say about the firm. It is clear that the culture of the firm promotes a good work life balance and that they are committed to diversity and inclusion.

To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
