Writing reports for clients, creating CAD diagrams, updating spreadsheets, and sitting in client meetings.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
I was given a lot more responsibility than other interships I've done. I was supported when necessary, but often left to get on with my own work. My manager trusted me and believed I was fully capable

Early on, I received a lot of training and guidance. After the first couple of weeks, I was thrown into exciting work, and helped when I asked for it.

The way to get the most out of the internship is to ask for more work, in areas that you are really interested in. Even if it's work outside of your team, your manager will usually do their best to get you involved in what you want!
