Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
I worked closely with my trainer buddy and supervisors to assist on their research/drafting tasks, as well as attended various training calls to learn more about the firm and how they operate.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
It was fascinating and highly insightful speaking to people from various areas of the business. These discussions helped me to understand all the various roles and their responsibilities in the successful operation of a law firm.

My communication skills have improved as I conducted several calls with people I had never met before in order to learn about the work they carry out and determine if the firm’s culture is a good fit for me.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
The culture was highly collegiate. Everyone was very generous with their time and freely offered advice in order to help me improve. There seemed to be a real sense of camaraderie amongst the trainees which is indicative of a health work/life balance afforded at Clydes.

To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
I thoroughly enjoyed my time with the firm. I was made to feel valued and included within my working teams. The work was engaging and I understood the importance that it had for the client.
