Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

I had my own project which involved being in the lab almost every day. I would also support my supervisor on other projects and report to the wider team which met weekly.

Yes, I was often working alone which required me to possess a lot of responsibility.

I received a lot of guidance when starting which included full-time supervision until I was confident to work alone. After that, I was given weekly guidance from my supervisor.

Company Culture

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

Very good. The department would engage in lots of fun events which allowed us to develop team building skills. Everyone was very welcoming and supportive, creating a fun environment.
