Overview of Experience

Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.

Four days of talks and Q&A sessions about the various business lines within GBM, guided by the Graduate HR team with the valuable presence of HSBC's employees ranging from analysts of the 2023 Graduate cohort to experienced Managing Directors and Heads.
The first day consisted on a general overview of GBM and a presentation skills session delivered by Wall Street Prep. The following days were allocated specifically to Markets, IB and CIB.

What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?

Nowadays there is so much information online that it is quite easy to get confused. This insight week was extremely useful to have a comprehensive overview of the GBM business and understand more in depth who does what within HSBC.
