Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
Gained exposure to creativity, diversity and inclusion that are at TikTok through loads of different talks given to us. I had also spent two days shadowing the Global Business Solutions (Sales) team, gaining exposure to the different sales TikTok has available and the reasoning.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
It was very useful it had me thinking of next steps and different ways I could get into the industry, but also options in how to get into the TikTok company with the different pathways that are opened from when you leave school.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Whilst at TikTok it had a very cosy atmosphere with everyone being so welcoming and everyone really wanting to be there. When you are walking around people would introduce themselves and answer any questions you may have.

To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
I enjoyed it very much as I learnt so much and was able to build connections with different people in the industry which will definitely help me in the future when I am applying for different roles in the industry.

Just be yourself as there are loads of applications they are looking for people who stand out from the crowd, don't be shy to show yourself as they are looking for people who would fit in and stand out for there team.
