Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Conducting the research project on a day-to-day basis within the trading team. But conversation across other teams are sometimes required.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Not too much I would say, I think the main reason was I interned at the trading desk and responsibility at the trading desk requires someone to be the full employee of the company and got the proper trainings.

Yes. There are also many lunch and learn sessions help to catch up with the professional skills required for the job and get a full understanding of the business. And I have learnt a lot from the team that I worked with and across teams.
