Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
On a day to day basis, we coded in pandas so we could see first hand the volatility of cryptocurrencies. We spent the week with the experienced technology team who took us through how to complete our tasks and also spoke to us about their responsibilities.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
The employees there were incredibly helpful with this as they told us what a typical day would look like for them e.g. we heard from a software engineer and he showed us all of the duties he typically completes in a day through a presentation.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
I learnt how to code in pandas which I hadn't even heard of prior. I also developed on my public speaking skills as at the end of the week we all gave a small presentation about ourselves to our cohort.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Its very relaxed and friendly. At no point did I feel too shy to ask a question or spark up a conversation with an employee who may not have even been directly related to the work experience programme. The employees there were all very willing to impart knowledge with us and give us meaningful advice.

I really did enjoy it, there companies culture was amazing and the knowledge that I gained during my time there is incredibly unique to the company.

There are two sets of telephone interviews. During them, there is no need to be too nervous its more like an informal chat so that the company can see what you hope to gain from the work experience and why you applied.
