Working in an actuarial consulting team. Day to day was largely spent producing analytical tables and charts on excel
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
I was producing analytics directly for clients so I felt there was definitely some form of responsibility

Lots of training within first two weeks and regular checkups with the project team I was on. Able to ask questions whenever I wanted.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Everyone for the most part was lovely and the general atmosphere was extremely positive. Did feel it was demonised to work 9-5 though and felt pressurised to work later
