Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Working as a support to the project manager on a BMW Rolls Royce office refurb, involving helping compile the tender report for the client, to help decide which contractor to appoint. Also writing minutes for calls. Compiling action lists post important meetings. Additionally, helping with strategy within manufacturing & technology, researching potential new clients.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Yes, I was given responsibility to research clients, and provide the team with key information. As well as compiling minutes and organising calls for the wider team.

Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
I have developed my time management and balancing skills hugely. Being involved on multiple projects and have other roles outside of the project has helped develop these. Making sure I assign the right amount of time for each task, and balance my time across roles well.

I received a huge amount of support and guidance throughout my 10-week placement in any way I needed. Everyone is very supportive as they know you are still learning and will need assistance at stages.
