Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

Support and execute communication tactics for global marketing initiatives working with a range of stakeholders from across the business to complete a variety of projects. Includes both management activities and creative tasks dependent of the project and my involvement.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

Yes definitely. I have run numerous projects and been given a large amount of freedom and responsibility within other tasks. I have also worked with a number of senior stakeholders to help execute critical projects.

I have learnt and developed a wide range of skills over the last year, including communications, critical and analytical thinking in a new industry, commercial and brand awareness, management and organization, a data driven focus, and creativity within a B2B company.

Great company culture, very welcoming and supportive of development. As a large company though you can sometimes feel a little lost.

Overall Experience

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

I enjoyed the experience a lot. I had a great opportunity to develop both soft and career orientated skills, and also felt like a valued member of the team.
