Take part in daily stand-up meetings, entailing the work needed to be done for the sprint and any updates on work. Work towards completing the intern project (a presentation) and complete work on your placement team, that your manager / colleagues have requested.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Given it being an 8 week internship, responsibility was given whenever possible. Often given independent research tasks to complete.

Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
I have developed my SQL skills, and coding skills in general. I have learnt about generative AI, and how it can be used in my department. Became more comfortable working in a hybrid working place. Developed my soft skills when working with others

Company culture is very apparent from the start, everyone is very supportive and wants everyone to thrive. Very friendly but hard-working atmosphere.

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
I enjoyed it a lot, I learnt a lot and developed my skills. The only thing limiting my enjoyment of my placement was that it was primarily online
