Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
The role involves using Fenergo software to create and update clients (corporations) profile including information about their nature of business, the products they want to trade, and attestations of being regulated by local and overseas financial regulators.
Also, WorldCheck software by Refinitiv to identify clients negative news about financial crimes.

Department director gave me important responsibility and ownership of mini-project throughout the internship program.

Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
I have developed knowledge on how Banks mitigate client non-financial risks and a deeper understanding of local and overseas financial regulations. The day-to-day job has helped me cultivating transferable skills such as, multitasking, attention to details, communication, and commercial awareness.
