Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
At the beginning of the internship I had 3 days of training, which included general training and audit specific training. After the first week I was assigned to a specific client and I was given tasks to complete each day.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
I now have a much better understanding of the different departments within the business. I also have a much better understanding of the roles and the career paths within the company.

I have developed many skills whilst on the internship including interpersonal skills, such as teamwork, problem solving and communication. I have also improved my technical skills such as my ability to use excel.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
The company has a great culture and atmosphere. Everyone is extremely welcoming and friendly. Everyone I met whilst on my internship was more than happy to help and answer my questions.

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
I have really enjoyed the internship. The 4 weeks was planned out really well and has provided many opportunities. It has given me a great understanding of a career in Audit and the career paths available. The company has a great feel to it, everyone I have met has been so helpful and welcoming.

What tips or advice would you give to others applying to PwC
Make sure you are proactive and asking lots of questions to get the most out the internship. Network with people as much as possible. Research the company well and understand what the company stands for.
